can i with hold rent if my landlord won't fix my roof after a hail storm?

Usually, in most states, you can have the roof fixed and then subtract the amount it costs you from the rent. You can't just not pay the rent. You need to be sure you've sent your landlord notice in writing that the roof has been damaged since, (the date), and he has until, (about two weeks)...

How can I change the aspect ratio on my Sanyo TV model D924424?

Check the tv's main menu by pressing the menu key on the remote, then the video section. Tho the problem can also be that you have some zoom enabled, so try pressing the zoom key to see if you can get the pic to fit better. If the tv is HD, if you are feeding it an SD signal, that can also...

Sounds like squash beetles. And they are called that cause they like the veggies in the squash family, zuchinni and pumpkin are some of their favorites. You can spray them with some Safer Brand organic Pesticidal Soap and some will die, but mostly you have to squash them by hand and remove...

Having problems drilling into interior wall- Do you have any tips i could

They sell curtain rods with strong springs inside them which you can extend on the inside of the window casing, if you have an inside piece of wall to hold it. That would require no screws. Other than that, if you could drill one hole, that means that possibly, if you move about 6" one way or...

After unplugging my TV and electronics for a storm, I cannot get any of them to...

It sounds like you have done about everything normally suggested. But I don't see where you tried plugging your things directly into the outlet, bypassing the surge protector, just for testing. Maybe the protector is malfunctioning. And also maybe run an extension cord to another outlet...

I need some advice on a tv...?

Depends on how far you will be sitting from the tv. Closer than 6', 1080p will provide less eye strain. More than 6', larger than 26 is a must, but you could go with a 720p. Tho I don't like plasma, if you do, they are cheaper and you could get a larger tv.

COMCAST OR VERIZON FIOS TV ?

FIOS is much better. Fiber optic cable to your house allows you to get uncompressed HD signals. So the pic is better. Regular tv is better as well. I've had both and I can tell you, go with FIOS for sure.

Which TV to pick? Samsung, or Toshiba.?

Samsung LCDs are excellent. You will get a better pic than with a Tosh. The Sammy C, 2010 models have just come out so if you look around some more you may be able to find the B, 2009 models at better prices than before. Go with the Sammy.

How do I connect my N64 to my Goldstar TV?

See if your tv has yellow-video, red/white-audio inputs in the back. If so, just hook those same colored RCA cables into the N64's output holes, and choose the Video 1? input on the tv. Whatever it says under those input holes on the back of the tv is the input to choose from your remote to...

just bought a new Panasonic Plasma,I also have an older receiver, a Pioneer Model...

To get surround sound you'd need to get an HD cable or sat box. They have optical and digital coax outputs. If your older receiver has an optical or digital coax input, all you'd have to do is run the optical or dig coax straight from the cable box to the receiver, attach an HDMI from the...
