Save up or buy a used gun....These guns are junk. Save up for a good used S&W revolver or a Ruger SR9 or a Stoeger or Bersa. Trust me.......cheap guns just make you regret your choice.

I would not take kids camping or rafting....Bugs....heat....no TV...sun burn...wild animals...coyotes.....etc.. On a raft would be a big no no....if its allowed.Suppose the kids go nuts??? You can't stop! What if the raft flips over??? Hats or not the reflection of sun off the water can still...

Does he have a scope for his rifle> ? Does he have a GPS for hunting,hiking or playing??Maybe a laser attachment? If you post a picture of his rifle we may see what he has on it....... and if its a flat top AR and if he has a forward quad rail on it. Some ammo might be good unless he has plenty...
