I just put on a poweraid throttle spacer on my 98 Mustang GT & now there is way to much play in the throttle cable. The pedal is way too close to the floorboard. I have both the Haynes and Chilton manuals and neither show how to adjust it. Does anyone know how to adjust the cable to get rid of...

The engine runs fine without it - idles at about 1k rpm, but when I turn on the ac the rpm's surge up to about 1.5k, then back down to 1k. It does this the entire time the ac is on. I've only had the car for two weeks and its been doing it ever since. Any advice? Thanks.
