If I have never owned a motorcyle before but I feel like I am strong enough to handle the weight of a 898 cycle my first time, can I handle this much speed and performance on my first ever motorcycle?

I feel like the displacement would be somewhat manageable and with the speed tuned down it would be a plausible starter bike. Does anyone agree with me?

I have a haro bmx bike that says Dave mirra on it and part of the serial number is H8904****. Are the first 2 numbers the year? If so what would this frame run around it in great condition.
