Is it rude to break wind in the fridge?

I did something evil - I opened the fridge door - and let some nasty wind loose in the fridge, then closed the door. Then I asked me room mate (who didn't see what I did) to get me a can of Coke. So he opened the fridge door and went: " Holly t!t !!! " Was that very impressive and you're proud...

Which is better on a bicycle, flashing lights (front and rear) or steady lights?

I live and cycle in London - the funny thing is that the TfL hire bikes use flashing red and white lights, but I have also seen police bicycles and they use steady lights... So I'm curious, which is better? I hear that a steady light might confuse drivers and other cyclists who might think...

Is it a good idea to break wind in me house mate's room?

Why would I stink my own room when I have his room to stink instead? He's in the shower, so he'll get a really nasty surprise when comes back to his room. What do you think?

Do you think it's okay if you break a rib when performing CPR chest compressions?

I hear that this can happen, but you still need to carry on as keeping the bloody flow is more important than broken ribs.. What do you think?

Is it 'manly' to fix your bicycle and have very dirty (and a bit bloody) hands?

Yesterday I spent about four hours fixing my bike's brakes, chain, pedals, rear wheel and tyre, and cleaning and oiling it - I did cut a few fingers and ended-up with really black hands (with some red bits!) and dirty clothes... I was walking along the road to my place and with me tool bag and...

    Does shoe polish smell bad?

Yesterday I polished my shoes - Today when I was about to put them on I noticed that the shoe polish smell is still there - I personally don't mind that - As I was sitting on the train, the smell was still there - Not very strong though - Do you think passengers dislike that smell? If so, how...

storage reasonable? I checked on TfL website and it says that there's staffed Finsbury Park bicycle park where they charge 50p per 24hrs for keeping my bike..
