I have shaw digital phone and telus dsl. I know that the phone comes into the house by cable then to the digital modem and then goes into the phone jack but does that phone jack connect with the same line as my dsl? and also I have a filter provided by telus dsl that the tech put on my phone...

I have digital phone and telus dsl. My digital phone comes in via cable then connects to a phone jack which is distributed to my phones throughout my house. This must mean that it connects to the phone lines which is the same line that dsl uses which is also connected to a phone wall jack. Or...

IMO you can hear the difference. It is very slight though. I do have an ear for car audio though. In most cases you won't notice. Try both and see for yourself.

Thanks for the advice, I figured as much that it will help in my situation. Which is I have 110 amp alternator and an amp that draws about 90 amps and produces 1000rms. Just get slight voltage drops. So I think I will get a cap but WHAT SIZE TO GET AND WHY.

I know that if my charging system can't keep up with the amps demand than getting a cap will be pointless. But what about if my amps demand is less than what my charging system puts out and I still get slight voltage drop will the cap help?
