I just bought a 2000 Ninja 500 and I was giving it a quick tune-up before I rode it. I just set the valves and took out a spark plug to go buy new ones, and I noticed that the threads of the plug had oil on them. Is this normal? I'm definitely looking for problems on this bike because it's... -

2001 Ninja 250, about 20k miles on it. About a month ago it died on me, and I couldn't figure out what the problem was. I replaced the starter and battery, and it still wouldn't start. I let it sit for a while (days) and then it started right up and ran great until last week when it died on... -
