I have the gain 1/4 and bass boost down on the amp. and on the head unit i have the low on +6 which is the highest and bass boost on +6 which is also the highest?

I recently blew my L5 15" which put out 87.8 db, now I am upgrading to a L7 15" and is currently on it's way here. The L7 puts out 89.4 db. Do you think thats a big difference? Will the L7 be a lot louder? Amp - Kicker 750.1 Lol. I already blew all my money bro. Maybe next time.

I have ordered a 2008 Kicker L7 15" because my 2004 L5 15" blew so I was wondering if my Kicker 750.1zx amp will be enough for this 1,000 RMS beast? I know the amp says 750.1 but it actually puts out 938 rms. Anyways, will the amp be enough? and if anyone has this sub what do you think about it...

So yesterday I blew my kicker L5 15 with a 750.1 kicker amp. I was pushing it pretty hard but i thought it could handle it but anyways i was wondering if a L7 15 could handle this amp better and not blow?
