    filter never needs to be changed...? is that true?

    I have a 2008 dodge avenger with 35,000 miles should I change my transmission

    fluid or get a transmission flus? can I have a shop drop the tranny pan and put a new filter in it for me...and how much does that usually cost? and why would my dealership tell me that it was recommended to flush it?
