Especially when those rules were theirs.
That album opened up new paths for Motown, that were badly needed.
You can just imagine them thinking; "A soul concept album? It'll never work."
@bob.
Never heard of 108 before but I like the sound of this song. His vocals are very strange but they work for the music. I think i'll get an album of this.
@chemical danny
Nothing too original but I like what they're doing, it works nicely. It'll be interesting to see where they go.

Anything by Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Schubert, Chopin, Clementi etc etc.
I'd be more interested in Romantic era at the moment i think, really want to get into it, so if anybody has anything, please help us out!
No one is grouping them in with the Nickelbacks and Fall Out Boy's though. They're a well known band that does some neat things from time to time, but in their almost 20 year career they've released 1 or 2 "good" albums and a lot more mediocre and bad albums. Their new stuff is almost as bad...
Yes, but, he's saying it's unpopular to him, so he doesn't care what you don't like, but it's apparently a popular opinion that most of us do care what you don't like. Do you not see that we don't dislike knowing what you dislike?
there's nothing wrong with an overlap in tastes. although personally i find it rather cringe worthy when an obviously middle aged person is trying to front on the 'cool' stuff the teenagers are listening to today, and missing the mark horribly (as in the case with ICP).
what works for my band is that the fact that we are all such good frienRAB so that when i say we are going to be a blatant rip off of radiohead they damn well listen to me.
