    >"Tried both ways and nothing " What do you mean "nothing"? Do you mean that nothing at all happens when you depress the reset button on the back side of the TX while depressing the power button on the top edege of the TX?

TMNT: Back to the Sewer Talkback: Episode 7.02: "Karate Schooled" (Spoilers)

So far that's 2 Back the the Future references they've had. The letter in "Timing is Everything", and the hover conversion in "Karate Schooled", similar to the way Doc Brown had the DeLorean hover converted in 2015. I was hoping Raph would say the line "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need...

    The Hub Is Revealed 10/10/10

The Hub is, as articles have mentioned, a rebranded Discovery Kids. DK does have some stuff, like Grossology & Growing Up Creepie, that never aired on NBC, so hopefully they'll get more attention. We'll just have to see if Hasbro can find a means to market them.

cartoons everyone liked but you hated.

I got very sick of the "look how funny we're being, making fun of Bill Clinton in a kids show" jokes. There's a very fine line between annoying-funny and annoying-annoying. The Animaniacs were on the bad side of that line most of the time. I'm not sure why you're talking about earning rights...

Worst moral message in a kids cartoon

On a somewhat related note, many of the things Ms. Bitters taught her class in Invader Zim have pretty bad moral messages to them. "Our whole society is nothing more than a perilous house of cards, destined to collapse under its own weight" And then there's her belief that the universe will...

Blog Talkback: Toons of the 2000s: Top 5 Disney Animated Television Series

Disney has more animated series than these 5 that were chosen. Why was Recess, Pepper Ann, and others not considered?

    animated movie flops/bombs

For a recent example, how about Everybody's Hero? I dont even recall it being in theatres, and the only promotion it got that i remember was seeing the trailer before Monster House.

Popular cartoons you never got into

Calling Family Guy a Simpsons Ripoff is like calling King of the Hill a Simpsons Ripoff. It's what's inside that counts. With that said, Brandy & Mr Whiskers. nice character design, but the writing's too hackneyed.

Cartoon Series They Should Have Made (but didn't)

You know, one day I'd really like to learn the identities of this "they" that you keep referring to. And if "they", whoever "they" might happen to be, made a Fantasy island cartoon like what was described above, I wouldn't watch it, so this mysterious organization known only as "they" need not...

Slovak recipe includes package of baking powder

In Germany (and I'd assume in the rest of Europe), a packet of baking powder contains enought for 500 grams of flour. I don't have any leftover here so I'm not sure exactly how much that is. HTH Suzanne 1 pkg. baking powder

I just got this recipe for Nan from a friend. Haven't made it yet. Im interested to hear the comments from those of you who have made Nan as to how it compares to your recipe and methodology. Thanks for all your replies. 1 1/2 tsp active yeast 1 tsp sugar 1 cup warm buttermilk 3 Tbls yoghurt...

    Stereotypes you've hated

I just can't watch 6Teen, because all the main characters are complete "popular teen" stereotypes. And the same goes for Total Drama Island, not only because they use similar stereotypes, but because I strongly dislike reality shows.

Toon Zone Talkback - "Futurama" Voice Cast *WILL* Return for New Episodes in 2010

Uh oh... Just when I was getting really excited for the revived Futurama, total bummer news emerges: The voice actors are going to be different. Who's going to Zoid my Zoidberg? Twentieth Century Fox, which is still producing the series even though new episodes will air on Comedy Central, is...

Why hasn't American Dad caught on?

Because the characters are horribly unlikeable. Yeah, the characters in Family Guy may be somewhat unlikeable as well, but Family Guy is mostly a series of cut away gags. It doesn't really matter if a character does something repulsive, because it's forgotten about in the next scene. But, in...
