Because it made it look like Tracey pushed Evie into all of it, as opposed to the way it was. She came out looking like the innocent teen, who made a mistake because of peer pressure. Its hard to believe the girl who played Evie wrote it, isn't it?

Why? The music does not add anything to the story or the atmosphere if anything the music detracts from the story in this musical I really don't think it should become a film musical.

I would like to agree on No Country For Old Men and maybe to a lesser degree on There Will Be Blood, but what an ending anyway. In American Beauty you knew at the start of the film what the end would encompass anyway so I don't know how they could have filmed an alternate ending without filming...

As well as some good recommendations above, I'd add the original version of The Postman Always Rings Twice and Key Largo from the classic noir era. And in modern noir, Blue Velvet, The Last Seduction, Body Heat, Blood Simple.

Godfather 2, superb film probably on a par with the first though. Another one that springs to mind is Young Guns 2.

No, actually. If you look back through the thread you'll see I have made a reasoned argument why TDK is too dark and too violent for small children. TBH with the issues in our society at the moment, why would we not want to restrict kiRAB' access to violent entertainment?

The effects were good but theres only so many times you can watch an aircraft escape a rolling cloud of ash.
