If the m4v is drm protected, you can not just rename it. You need to remove the drm protected first. You can try m4v converter I usually used. You can find it in http://www.avclabs.com/mac/m4v-converter-plus.php
My signal strength is far better then my N1 was. Battery is not as good, however it's a great replacement in general. The TMO reps gave me a different SIM card to replace my old one which came with the G1. No idea if that has any impact.

Build quality is what is quickly turning me away from the Glofiish branded E-Ten phones. I was looking at the M700/X500, but now I've switched gears to the HTC Tytn/Trinity. About the same price, ultimately, a little better support, and a lot more users online that I can find.

LG and Samsung offer several of them. The LG U880 and Samsung Z510 come to mind. There are a bunch more. Be sure to check whether they work on the bands in your area though. I think Australia uses 900/1800 MHz GSM and 2100 MHz 3G bands.
