I like what they did with the FF movies. They aren't deep or overly meaningful but they're cute and harmless. I don't see the need to re-boot the franchise again. FF is meant to be more light-hearted than other superhero franchises so I don't know what they'd do differently without changing it...

I think the BBC would always have the utmost faith in John Sullivan and anything he does "Only Fools " related. I bet there was never a issue over budget spending, as only fools and hoses is one of the jewels in the bbc crown.

Didn't open water start with "Based on a true story". I've always took it that being based on a true story means many of the elements in the film/book are fictional but are based on an actual event.
