    Actually, I work at an auto shop. Most new cars use synthetic oil which can hit about $7.00 a quart. $7 x 5 = $35 in oil. say another $8 for a filter. You're already at $43 and they can charge up to $20 in labor that's already $63. plus tax waste fees..... etc. it's stupid but they can do it...

    Head down to your local parts store, I prefer CarQuest. Ask for a Transmission Filter Kit, Grey Silicone (Sealant), and regular DEX/MERC transmission fluid. 6 quarts should be enough. u should spend somewhere around $30.00. And u just performed a professional automotive repair.
