one of my mates at work absolutely adores Transformers. he loved them in his youth (i was more He-Man) - etc, etc, etc but he is disgraced with what he knows of this movie. refusing to watch it or show any interest. i think because they changed the design of bumblebee! or something.

Totally agree. Many of the great carry on stars have sadly passed, and i don't think Barbara WinRABor would commit to it. It wouldn't be the same without Sid James, Kenneth Williams etc.

The Others wasn't really billed as a horror though was it? More of a supernatural chiller with a great twist at the end. I liked it anyway. The worst horror I have seen is Pulse. A 1988 film that was on ITV a few years ago and NOTHING happened. Just electricals went a bit funny but no one dies!
