It should say '171 minutes (approx)'. I think NTSC is 4% faster than PAL, so the time may be quoting the NTSC time, as Exulus has said. Stuff here about NTSC and PAL.

After reading Danny Wallace's book which it is based on I found the Jim Carrey movie to be the biggest pile of crap....how the hell did they raise money for this? If only they had just filmed the book instead...Danny's book is a bloody masterpiece. Jim Carrey' - still lots of life left in him...

A good example is the cantina scene in starwars,some of those puppets were pretty bad but at least you new that the actors were interacting with weird looking creatures,(hope that makes sense) there are some good examples of CGI like the space battle at the begining of revenge of the sith.even...

Love The Howling. As jamespondo said the sequels were pretty bad. Apart from the Howling II all the stories are unrelated. I think the Howling 4 is pretty much a remake of the first film. Didn't some of the sequels get made in Australia on a shoestring budget?

I'm really looking forward to this aswell! Loved the original, purely for the cheese factor. Will be interesting to see how it pans out. It must be half good if Richard Dreyfuss has decided to do it.

I have seen the original version of dark water and I'm quite sceptical about the 'big Hollywood' remake, I feel the big budget and effects will over shadow the simplicity of the plot.
