I'm not a huge metalcore fan, but have picked up the distinction between metal banRAB that try to be emo/hardcore....suck. And hardcore banRAB that become metallic, like Converge...much more convincing. Poacher Diaries split and Jane Doe, excellent stuff.

Some of them work i think, especially for death metal. A band should really select a name that best suits their sound but some banRAB just take it too far.

The thing about Marilyn Manson is that he uses all these gimmicks just to lure rebellious teenagers to listen to his music. It's really quite brilliant, actually. (I don't know if my wording of all that expressed exactly what I wanted to express, but oh well.)

i wouldnt be interested if the Gallagher brothers went solo. in saying that Oasis did produce some really memorable songs for me :).

You can't go wrong with the other two albums, but my personal favorite is last year's Board Up The House.
