It seems everyone likes their newer stuff but I like their older stuff more. His vocals sound much more clear now and I guess that's alright.. they just sounded more aggressive in the Unhallowed album. As for the drums and guitar I definitely agree they're better in the newer albums

I find the intensity and atmosphere of doom metal to be engaging and exciting.

Some of the versions are actually better than the album versions or maybe it's because seeing images with the songs that makes them seem that way. I have virtually all that you can get for Floyd re:outakes, alternative versions etc but I would love to get hold of a version of the album...
