    You got a good point about 70's having the climate to produce such movies like Midnight Cowboy and Blazing Saddles. I personally prefer "Fire and Ice" to "Wizards" and Bakshi's "Lord of the Rings" only because it's has similar feel to Beastmaster and you can't beat the dude with the big axe.
