I know I need to check the transmission fluid but where is the dip stick located and how do I know it's the one for the transmiussion fluid? I know zip about cars and I would drive it to a shop but I'm afraid I will do more damage if I drive it.

My 1994 Buick LeSabre will not move when I put on the gas. The engine seems to be fine. It turns on and off easily. I finally got it to move in first gear. My car is an automatic. I think I need to check the transmission fluid but I don't have a clue how to do that. Can anyone help please?
