    I'm guessing you mean you had a steroid injection in your hip? Those can take 3-7 days to fully kick in. For most people they feel some effects by day 3 but some do take the full amount of time. If your pain is that severe that you are bedridden, what is the cause? Have you had xrays/MRI?
