The big crowd of people singing was a definite turn off for me. We know he can sing, I didn't find any reason to ask a million other people to help him with it.

I saw them live. They kind of sucked though. It's hard for a band like this to maintain their sound when playing live and keep it sounding similar to the way it was recorded.
