    Your Top 10 METAL Bands

Perdition Judas Iscariot The True Xenophobia Quisling Spear Of Longinus Black Tribe Spitehowling Thesyre Burzum Absurd A nice smattering of different styles. There are so many to choose from though. I mean, I could fill up a totally worthy top ten list with just norweigen banRAB from 1990-94...

    Marilyn Manson

Obviously I was kidding, but let's just admit this: It's Friday night, and we're sitting around typing on the computer: We're both losers! At least that's what they would hav us think.

    Job For a Cowboy

Ehhhhhhh, I wouldn't go as far to say it's a "great" death metal album. It's decent, and when compared to their earlier stuff, it could be considered great. But.. when comparing it to death metal as a whole? It's pretty bland and extremely forgettable.

    Are You In A Band

me and a friend of mine started a band called First Man Down. We've been working on covers, as well as a couple of our own songs. We play metalcore, close to Haste the day. Right now i play drums/back up vocals, and my friend plays lead guitar, but he wants to play keyboard, and we have another...

    What channel you on?

I think RYM is a good way but a lot of people neglect that. If you have a lot of your collection catalogued and especially if you have rated a lot of albums then finding new but similar stuff is fairly easy and more likely to pay off. Plus, the user made lists can be very good, depending on...

Have you ever been in love??

Yes, but why does putting down my opinion give you pleasure? The thread was "Have you ever been in love (with a band)" not "Totally Disregard Lex's Opinion Because It Makes You Feel Better."

    3 Inches of Blood

This is a band that I recently heard. They have an old school metal feel to their sound. The singer has a vocal style similar to Rob Halford. They have some good guitar solos. I'm not a big fan of the vocal style, but I love the guitar work. This is a band to look out for IMO.

young people listen to the 70's music?

Oh, I'm talking from 86 to 96. When I converted to cd, I never bothered to replace their stuff. I have all of it now. I have Rock and Roll Over in my car right now. heehee. KISS HATER!!!! LOL.

    The Vinyl Collector's Thread

I think this should be interesting. I love listening to vinyl, and I'd probably consider myself a collector, though to be honest I haven't the slightest idea of what's worth what. To be honest I'd probably rather buy a reissue of an old album than hunt out a rare pressing of that album; while...

    Offensive Songs

^ It depenRAB. Personally, I see it as a "frontal attack" on Church's hierarchy and certain organizations such as the Opus Dei. Obviously, it's not about a large social group (ethnic, race, by gender, age, status, nationality, political ideology, class, job, etc.), and of course there are songs...
