    Watchmen (2009)

I saw the trailer for the first time yesterday in the cinema, when I went to see Role Models!!! :woot: It was insanely exciting, but I was on my own with only two other guys in the screen, so I had to keep my squee to myself. Hardest thing ever

Slumdog Millionaire - It is written.

It's coming out in the US already?! It's still in cinemas here

The Dark Knight #3 - #2 all-time within a month? Not too shabby.

Urgh, I really want to see it in IMAX!!! It's not available in this city, but they do have it in Glasgow, so I'm hoping that I can get a chance to go through and watch it before it's taken out of the cinemas. A couple of new articles: I'm still bummed about it probably not beating Titanic...

Strong Women Characters in Films/ Which Ones Have Them?

Everyone has made great points, but one of the first I thought of was River Tam from Serenity. Typically, throughout the show Firefly and then the movie, she's depicted as weak and helpless, but she has clever moments where her abilities exceed those of any males she encounters. And then the...

    Watchmen (2009)

 The cinema my friend works at has big stands with the characters on them too, and everytime I walk past, I'm so tempted to steal them  But it'd be a bit difficult considering they're downstairs, and also massive :P Unfortunately people who work there claimed them all before she could...

My Bloody Valentine 3D - Get your heart broken!

I second this, it was really good! Cancelled before its time, unfortunately. DefLeppardFan, you ship Danny/Samantha? That makes me really excited! :yay: I don't know of a lot of shippers for them.

Ten Inch Hero - I Want Mine!

Loren! The petition is to try and get the movie a distributor, or at least, a DVD release. So, both sort of :P Thanks for the cover link, Urban~Goddess! I actually quite like it too, the colour combination is cool, and the picture makes me smile. The only thing I'm not too hot on is all...

STAR TREK Appreciation #1: In 2009 comes a new vision of the greatest space adventure of all time

 That definitely seems to be the case, from what I've heard so far too. I really wish we'd gotten to see Spock's birth scene, because I'm sure it's shown in one of the trailers, but it'll probably be a deleted scene on the DVD now. And the whole issue with Jim having a brother is...

    Favorite Disney Movie

The Lion King 1 & 2 Mulan Robin Hood All of them were pivotal to my childhood, and I just think each is heart-warming and funny in its own unique way. Honestly, I can't describe how much I  them!

Are you sure we're not in the same place? :goof:

    The Covenant

Em, are we allowed to be brutally honest here? Because I absolutely hated this movie. Let me be straight, I wasn't expecting it to be amazing. I wanted to watch it because I'm into the supernatural genre and different perspectives of it, and I figured it'd be average at best. But it wasn't even...

    Watchmen (2009)

Ooh, I just checked IMDb, and it said the extended cut is being released on 21st July! :yay: I'm not sure if that's for the States or UK, though. Probably the States.

The Dark Knight #3 - #2 all-time within a month? Not too shabby.

I cannot tell you how badly I want it to. It blows my mind that Titanic, of all films, is #1 in the first place.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine: B/C we are all excited to see Wolverine & finally, Gambit on the same screen

I was very disappointed with this, and considering how excited I was beforehand, and how long I'd been looking forward to it, that's a bit gutting. But yeah, while I thought it was okay, there were a lot of things that bugged me. For one, they shouldn't have cut out all the good stuff to make it...

Slumdog Millionaire - It is written.

I'm so happy with all of Slumdog's wins at the Oscars! :woot: Haven't had a chance to watch the whole show yet, but I did see Danny Boyle's acceptance speech, and his tribute to Tigger cracked me up  He's adorable!

    Watchmen (2009)

I love how many people are being so pleasantly surprised by the film, because they have no idea what to expect and end up loving it :D Definitely  Which is also why they make a good team :D I'm going to go see it again tomorrow! :yay:
