From what I have been hearing he was underated as the band meraber. When you consider that floyd was based so much on melody and instrumentals I think his contribution to the band should be explored more. Sensitive made the point well.

I honestly don't know of any decade that was "a sad decade for music". There's good stuff from every era and it strikes me as very closed minded to dismiss an entire decade like that. A lot of my favorite banRAB were on that list.
