you screwed the heads or fried the motor. most engines today have aluminum heads which cannot handle the heat for very long. so you probably melted something together

hve you noticed the check engine light coming on? the other thing it could be is the fuel pump giving warning signs of getting ready to quit on you

there is a speed sensor and a trans range sensor. could be either or both

quite honestly it could be any of what you were told, but since your check engine light came on go to a local autoparts store and have it read, find out what the code means and that will point you in the right direction

the only time that indicator comes on is when you have low or no oil pressure. sounds like you have an oil pump starting to go out and giving you a warning. that is nice since they usually just go out without warning. you prob saved your engine. i would get someone for sure at a trusted shop...

plugged converters, bad o2 sensors, plugged air filter, crank position sensor going out, fuel pump going out. just a few things to look at

sounds like you have a clogged trans filter or the trans just gave out.

i have a 99 did the same thing. under the passenger side of the dash is 2 silver cylinders with vacuum lines going to them. they were only working part of the time. my problem was those. it could be that or your central control unit. good luck

yep you need a code which means a visit to the dealer. next time put a battery maintainer on the system while changing the battery and you wont loose the info.

check both fuse boxes, the one under the dash and the one out under the hood. if that doesn't work you prob have a dead short somewhere

just call your local autoparts store tell them what you need and they can give you a price on the parts. and if you are taking it to a garage just double the price of the parts. that will put you in the ballpark
