    BBC1 - Die Hard 3 tonight (16/12)

The worst edit of this film I've seen was on Sky Movies. They kept the language in but cut a lot of the violence (i.e. the shoot out in the lift and where two guarRAB get their throats slashed by a female who's with Irons when they rob the bank). I am surprised an uncut version of this film...

    Favourite Classic sci-fi/Creature feature movies.

Nothing better than the 50s sci -fi movies! the modern sequels may have the special effects but lack the tension and atmosphere of these old classics!!

"The Kung Fu Kid" Oops sorry - "The Karate Kid"

To digress for a second - There is a Kata (form) in Shotokan Karate called "Gankaku" which means "Crane on a rock", in which you balance on one foot with the other foot tucked behind the knee of the supporting leg.

    Memento

One of my fave's as well. Memento is a film that neeRAB to be watched without distraction as you need to follow the story closely if you're to make sense of the plot! It's interesting to try and figure out the sequence of events in real time, given that everything is reverse!

    Most shocking or disturbing film?

Requiem for a Dream The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas Visitor Q City of God I found all of these disturbing. Obviously for different reasons, heh. These films couldn't be more diverse from each other! I have to say The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas was the most effective one. Just because it left...

    My Sister's Keeper

Yeah it is good if you don't compare it to the book! All the main five cast members IMO were amazing, I've seen around 5 of Cameron Diaz's films and I thought this was her best performance by a mile, especially in the last scene . The two girls who played Kate and Anna were also v.good and I...

    Actors who don't act

I love Michael Caine to bits but he's always just Michael Caine. And Woody Allen's been playing the same neurotic Jewish New Yorker (i.e. himself) for the past 40 years.

Films people hate that you love...

You deserve to be hung drawn & quartered for that statement. My girlfriend made me sit through that about 6 months ago and I've still not recovered. To be fair, we got so bored (it was way beyond 'so bad it's good') that we put the Ps3 into fast motion just to laugh at the voices and to escape...
