    Is it ok to leave a spider plant outdoors, or should I bring it inside?

    Hard freeze will kill a potted spider. Here in zone 8 they survive the winter planted in the ground. Cut off some of the pups/babies and root them in clear containers of water - they'll grow happily in nothing but water for extended periods (years) of time...can be potted later.
