Simpsons Movie to be a PG

PG= Pretty Grim....if the trailers for this once brilliant but now old and tired 'franchise' are anything to go by...

    Hot Fuzz

Really enjoyed some great laugh out loud moments. I thought it was better than Shaun of the Dead which I also enjoyed immensely. There has been some top films already in 2007, but it is a contender for my film of the year.

    fentanyl and oxycodone

My fentanyl transdermal patch (75mcg) and my oxycodone (15 mg) have not showed up in my urine tests at my pain management clinic twice now. To top it off, my insurance denied covering these tests and now I have to pay $1,200.00. Can someone give me an idea why these would not show up in my...

    Saw 4

I like that these are not just standalone movies, that you do have to have some knowledge of the previous films. I liked this one, it drew me in more than 2 or 3 did, and as usual at the end I like having to rethink what I've just seen, which I think this one did better than 3. And 4 didn't...

Why do film studios keep pumping out romantic comdies?

I can't stand them personally, and there seems to be more and more coming out each year! I don't mind a good love story like The Notebook but these films are regurgitated rubbish, it's the same basic storyline changed slightly and it's always the same actors, yes I'm looking at you Hugh Grant...

    The Number 23

I was disappointed too. It looked so promising. I like enigmatic, twisting thrillers in the style of Identity, Fight Club, Primal Fear and Memento and so I was looking forward to 23. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. In fact it failed to grip me at all an it took me three...

    trouble at Odeon cinemas

I used to work for Odeon and it's true. I'd give them one warning, stay to keep an eye on them for the rest of the film and kick them out if they started again. If someone complained they were gone. The management gave us a lot of discretion in this regard.

Free dvds in this week's/weekend's papers

Just watched this film - don't remember when it came out (1980's?) - but a good entertaining watch. The Middle Ages are wonderfully done. Good direction & photography.

The teens in the audience seemed to find it very frightening, I thought it was feeble.

not ovulating, losing weight, headaches, dizziness, tired

Some of your symptoms sound like hyperthyroid. I know you've had a thyroid blood test but these aren't always reliable. Maybe worth doing a search and see what you think.

    Anyone seen Cannibal Holocost? (sp)

Yes and so does pretty much every other cannibal movie - and all look obviously very fake. DVD commentaries from the director appear to show he does regret the animal cruelty but it was a regular ingredient of cannibal movies at the time although the practice is now banned even in Italy...

    Invention Of Ratio Cheating

    Over rated Actors

I know acting styles have changed quite a bit over the years but Humphrey Bogart never really impressed me as an actor even compared to his contemporaries. He's very effective in some of his films.....but also more limited than is generally acknowledged IMO.

Carey Mulligan would have made an excellent Lisbeth Salander no?

no, I think they should just get the Swedish actress to play her - Noomi Rapace - she was absolutely brilliant in the part
