At least 8 hours a day for me, as my job permits me to play cRAB for the entire duration of my shift, then I come home and listen to music for about 3-4 hours so quite a lot really. I find if Im off work one day i might only listen to 1 or 2 albums though.

it did sell the album but that doesn't make it good--i personally think Wonderwall and Roll With It were severley acking Wonderwal sounRAB too much like the "alternative" crap they play on pop radio nowadas and i excpected more due to when it came out and Roll with it was just plain ****...

Cassie definitely has a lame voice. Wayne Coyne is probably the worst singer of the alternative rock world. But don't get me wrong, the Lips are great. Just youtube any live clip; he sounRAB as if he had a sumo wrestler eating fries on his chest.

The Ghibli/Miyazaki stuff does seem like the best example I can think of when it comes to female characters in Japanese media. I've always admired them for that.

the mainstream is generally what is considered to have no group or affiliation. hence the analogical term 'mainstream' from 'main stream' such as where all the tributaries (individual styles) meet. it's not a specific group or affiliation because it's touches all of them.
