Today's animated movies are top notch (the ones from Pixar anyway), but animated TV series, not so much IMO. Most of today's toons are unfunny and don't tell a good story save for a select few. I'll take the toy commercial toons and the classics on Boomerang over today's stuff easily.

One I just thought of, watching Boomerang. Fantastic Max / Space Ace - two kind of obscure cartoon shows of the 80's that deals with space, and throws logic out of the window. I thought the alien villain that Max encounter in space in the opening looks just like Space Ace's nemesis commander...

Besides the usual suspects like South Park and The Simpson's there was only the Ducktales movie. Apart from that I could watch anything my heart desired.
