I can't believe nobody's mentioned Krull. :eek: That's a mighty film. :D Good stuff. The best fantasy film for me is probably the extended version of the Fellowship of the Ring. As a Tolkien geek the rest of the trilogy makes me angry, but the first part ain't bad at all.

I'm sorry if I said it like that :) To another poster - as for T1 looking dated, of course it does in it's way but it can be genuinely scary (the bit when the endoskeleton comes back out of the fire) - it's much spookier than the sequel, but both are classic, superb films.
