Hey guys i just bought my first Ducati 2009 1198 and i also have gas light coming on around 80 miles, when i fill up at the pump i see 2.6 gallons is all it takes, Ducati clams the tank is 4.1 gallon with 1.0 res....... I guess that what you get when you have all that that horsepower...........

The paint is incredibly tough imo, I hate the look of the tank protectors and so don't use em. After 1,300 miles still looks like new. If you're worried about small scratches, get Zaino Z5 and then Z2, problem solved. I wash n wax it once a week, but don't give it a second thought when riding...

The cams will help a lot. My 2010 Street Glide was 68 hp and 82 tq stock, the stage II 103 and SE 255 cams I had installed with dyno tune now produce 92 hp and 106 tq.
