Oh I loved that too :D I saw Deliverance a few years ago, when I was maybe 16. Very unsettling, but a fantastic film. Why are people talking about it like it's a "gay" movie? Surely it's not sexually appealing to anyone except those with bizarre fetishes.

Being a historian, I have researched the history of this famous raid over the years, and to this day, the film version starring Richard Todd and Michael Redgrave has remained one of my favourite films of all time, despite its inaccuracies. I am not certain whether this remake will come anywhere...

I would like to mention Harold & Maude. Without reading the whole thread I don't know if this has been mentioned and I can't remember the last time it was on TV, unless I somehow didn't notice. I do own the DVD though and I love this film

Great programme, really held my attention. Usually I get the fidgets & multitask, but this was fascinating. I love all the old era Hollywood history, Gloria Stuart was wonderful.
