Imax cinema: who has experienced it?

There's a fair difference between 3D presentations in an IMAX cinema which are awesome, and an ordinary movie on the IMAX screen. The first impressions of ordinary movies are of the sheer size of picture - which is why sitting in the centre of the hall is good, whereas with 3D, you are...

    The Heartbreak Kid

Defeninately not the best Stiller film, it had funny moments, and long period of what should have been funny but were not bits.

    Slumdog millionaire...make it stop.

Yes how dare this country produce anything good enough to win 8 Oscars all we ever do and want to been known for is crap! Poster's attitudes here are the reason this country stinks. Bad attitude! (Called the Hamilton effect: If something is too good Slumdog, Hamilton, Ray Quinn, etc...

    Eye drops

this happens to me sometimes too! My doctor told me it's normal. Doesn't taste too good though.. bleh. I guess you don't notice it with regular eye drops. When I had conjuctivitis last year is when I noticed it with the drops as well.

    Back to the Future

Yes he does Although I agree there shouldn't be a 4, I would deffo support it if they did go ahead with one. It was rumoured not so long ago that they was thinking of doing a 4 without MJ being in it, or just as flashbacks. Still have Lloyd, but was going to be set something around Doc's...

Have you ever taken a film TOO seriously?

Not so that I actually do things to imitate, although I am sure I remember setting up Home Alone style traps when I was younger :) Films get to me though, they can control how I feel for the next few hours... A little deep I know, but it's the way it is. Just hate watching those depressing films :(

    Telstar

You probably already know, but the DVD just came out last week. I got it from Amazon but I also saw it on sale in Tesco yesterday. It's a very good film, fantastic performance from Con O'Neill as Joe Meek. It captures the atmosphere of the late 50's and early 60's incredibly well.

JJ Abrams Star Trek film - Here's the "Enterprise"

I don't have a problem with metal space junk (hello, what the heck do you think the BSG is made out of?), I have a problem with continuity. But as this film is a reimagining, set [for the most part] in another universe, one of the changes is the NCC-1701 is made of shiny metal, and has a...

It Only Happens In The Movies...

Your car, whatever the make or model is indestructible - even when Godzilla tries to eat it (with you in it) it still manages to work perfectly - well aside from the odd creak.

Rapid weight gain of the belly

Since you quit smoking, what do you twiddle in your fingers instead of a cigarettes? You may be eating more than you think, keeping hands busy with nibbles. Many smokers gain weight after stopping for the above reason.

Best ending to a film of all time *spoilers*

"One of my favourite film endings belongs to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. From the outset, a bullet-ridden ending appears inevitable, but writer William Goldman (whose script won a best screenplay Oscar) and director George Roy Hill craft their tragic finale so deftly that death seems...

    Just one BT site...

I don't have any needs although I could certainly use a good nights sleep but for bt I think maybe Demonoid if they don't shut it down again .After that goem for the movies obviously but also it's one of the few place I belong to that is totally lacking in attitude. My prospective I would...
