I watched the film last night and saw an interview (I think with Mirren) a couple of months back and she mentioned the series. I'm now inclined to watch the series as it has high ratings, A decent cast and a well know and renowned writer.

When I watch Saw 4, I thought that it was good, but when I heard that they were making Saw 5 and possibility of making a sixth Saw film, I thought, 'They are not going to stop!!' Anyhow, I managed to find a teaser poster on Screening Log...

Have to agree on both points there - Don Cheadle channeling Dick van Dyke was just beyond laughable. And Michelle Ryan's US accent was great - although I did find it funny that one of the episodes contained a storyline where she had to put on a british accent :) Jamie Bamber's US accent in BSG...

It's a good burger. One of the Coen's best. (i.e. before they started either throwing the baby out with the bathwater (No Country..), or hastily trying to pastiche former glories (Burn After Reading).)

I still bet they wish they could change it ... I am so amused about this. Warner Bros thought they were being so clever pushing the film back and they've landed the premiere on the same day as Michael Jackson's funeral. They must be going mad. I don't blame Alan for not getting involved in...

I'm glad someone else has noticed this too. I think it's so rude when they do this. Also when characters in a soap, for example, say they'll meet up later but they never arrange a time to meet. i find that quite bizarre.

I dunno. There is something about Juno. Yeah it may not have that certain banging storyline like some films, but the writing is brilliant.

As the others have said, it shoud be viewed 4,5,6,1,2,3. Otherwise all the the suprises in Empire and Jedi... well.. aren't. As a 6 movie saga, make sure it's the 2004 DVD versions or the OT, as they make the contunuity with the prequels work better. They can be enjoyed 1,2,3,4,5,6 quite well...
