While I hear what you're saying Clint, I would tend to think that a defective product affected by a recall *should* still be covered by said recall. Especially at a low mileage like that. I'd contact the local dealership and start working my way up the chain.

I have to disagree with the monster, my buddy has a S2R. He did one two hour trip with his girlfriend on back two years ago and she's never been on it since. My SS got rave reviews from passengers surprisingly, but the 750 motor just didn't have enough juice for two up.
