I prefer podcasting on the phone. And MediaMonkey syncs my 5800 and E75 just fine. And it hasn't dropped one on itself in the year or so I've been using it. iTunes has never been very good on Windows.

To be honest, it looks like they've rectified very little about the huge stack of issues with S60v5. They don't have most of the absurd soft input panels because of the keyboard, they've added kinetic scrolling in the browser and they've thrown in widgets. If you find S60v5 to be frustrating...

True, but keep in mind that Symbian's architecture, outside of the kernel, is a bit of a layered mess. It's kind of like running a KDE4 desktop, wtih KDE3 and Gnome apps... there are going to be a lot of extra libraries loaded that are sucking up RAM. S60 Architecture
