No because the COM port is disabled and the SPC is needed to enable it. In that state no software sees the phone at all so there is no way to read SEEM 0055 or anything for that matter. It is a fluke that he was able to read it with BitPim for that short time.

At least that was how it was 9 months ago when i had Cricket last. Phones listed as CPE werent allowed to have the roaming feature code on the account. Even if you flashed a roaming PRL, it still wasnt allowed to have the feature code. See this thread for when i last remeraber discussing it...
