I don't remember if the T3 supports W98 - but assuming it does - install the Palm Desktop software for the T3 - use the same user name and hot sync. There is not enough difference between the two devices to worry about any other issues - they shouldn't occur. If the T3 is not supported on W98...

I forgot to mention Sword of the Stranger. Literally no one has seen it (doesn't even have a page on Rotten Tomatoes) and given that it's an extremely accessible and fun movie that's something of a crime IMO. RENT/BUY THE DVD AND DISCOVER HOW AWESOME IT IS!

What carrier? You should decide which carrier provides the best service where you will use the phone - i.e. where you live, work, play, travel, etc. For example, if you travel overseas, then you are pretty much limited to Cingular or T-Mobile. Once you pickthe carrier, picking the phone is easy.

Wow that was fast. I had it in my cart for a upgrade this morning but I just ordered a new computer for the wife so I decided to just hold out until I knew what first generation bugs to expect when I get the phone on a later date. Hopefully the issues will be minimal.
