JJ Abrams Star Trek film - Here's the "Enterprise"

Yes, with some of the worst acting and half baked scripting ever seen in SF TV. Bring back Babylon 5!

    The Ratings Thread (Part 13)

Note that UK TV Guide/DigiGuide has failed to update for ITV1 for week beginning 13th November, presumably they want to keep the scheduling for that week under wraps. ITV Press Office also gives very little clues about the schedules for that week - the only show in there is All Star Family...

    Lord Of The Rings trilogy

I'd watch the movies first, if you enjoy them then read the books. You'll enjoy the films more if you have no idea what's going to happen. I think if you read the books first and like them you'll only end up picking the movies apart, lots of stuff didn't even make it into the films.

    Salt

I enjoyed it, but... far-fetched plot but still managed to be entirely predictable (quite an achievement) and the end was total garbage. Basically it was trying to be Bourne - an intelligent action film that was more than guns and explosions, except it failed utterly.

    Now another couple more symptoms.....

Hi everyone, For the past few days, I have been having more symptoms. I have been waking up every night in the middle of the night with horrible leg cramps. I have to get up out of bed and walk them out. They get so bad that when I actually get back up in the morning that they hurt so bad...

The first horror film you saw

That's definitely Society. A truly memorable opus of deviance and general wrongness, the like of which Hollywood rarely produces.

    The Restaurant 2009

This show has won my award for most cringeworthy TV moment ever, I was howling with laughter/tears when they were bringing out that airplane cake, I thought my hubby was going to have a heart attack. Honestly the tip of it looked like a wonky condom, hilarious!! As regarRAB the progamme, well...

Yes, I would suggest a neurologist as well. What were the abnormalities the ENT found exactly? Are you on any new medications as of late? q

The Million Pound Drop Live - series 2 discussion thread (starts tonight, 10pm, C4)

That's part of the intensity of the game, you have to leave one empty all the way to the end. It's what can make it so hard if the last question is particularly tricky. The reality tv question was quite harsh though.

The Rock n Roll Years 1956-1989 Who Remembers it?

ABSOLUTELY I have them all on video, great series and thanks for the nod about them being on BBC4 :) Why wont programme makers like the BBC realise that these are gems and should be preserved on DVD? They would make great collectors sets. My videos are starting to really show their age...
