    Led Zeppelin vs. The Beatles

You know, I am a fan of the beatles and all, but I believe Led Zeppelin is an all around better band. They defined the era. Jimmy Paige was a virtuoso at guitar, whose solos were above and beyond anything the Beatles could come up with. Who else agrees with me, and why or why not?

MUST SEE: Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire

Excellent film. Well shot with wonderfull effects that weren't over the top or fake looking and well acted by everyone, especially Brendon Gleeson as Alastor "Mad Eye" Moody. Brilliantly dark with some good funny touches.

    BBFC bans a violent DVD

No it is not,a extreme pornographic movie features acts of sexual violence actually committed against women (or men),if unwillingly then that would usually constitute snuff film. This is a movie filmed/produced by film companies and ACTED by actors, under American film union bodies. It's no...

    Most boring film ever?

I've been fortunate in my cinema visits that I rarely see a boring or bad movie, the only exception I can think of is Adams Family Values which was quite a painfull experience, I would have walked out if I was on my own.

    Horror franchises!

i read an interesting thing in the guardian over the weekend about how jason, michael, pinhead, freddie et al are *our* generations frankenstien, dracula, wolf man etc and that those films were constantly remade and had sequels made, so there's no real reason why ours shouldn't either. he had a...

Name A Remake Better Than Original?

You're JOKING aren't you??? Same goes for you who said Frankenstein, Thomas Crown Affair, The Thing, Texas Chainsaw Massacre. DOTD remake was enjoyable enough but very shallow throwaway stuff - wouldn't watch it twice. The original is a true classic. Agree that The Fly was an excellent remake...

Which shows will get axed next year?

Based on that logic shouldn't we axe Corrie? After all Harold Macmillan was in power when that first launched  I think dramas such as Waterloo Road, Casualty, Holby and Sci-fi stalwart Doctor Who are safe. Torchwood could be an interesting one if it doesn't take off when aired next...
