    AFI- Crash Love

4/5 This album is a solid evolution for a band that continues to bring it's fans unique, emotional and awe-inspiring music and lyrics. Taking on more of a '4 guys playing in a garage' approach, Crash Love gets back to AFI's rock roots, a huge departure from the electronic-heavy...

Will the 00's be remembered fondly?

The same as every other decade- good and bad. I couldn't give two hoots what the radio will play regarding this decade in ten years time as it will be generally mainstream and not a good barometer of what's truly out there. I do agree with Urban in many respects that we have so many more...

    Offbeat Observations About Music

Pitchfork lost what ever credibility it had with me when they gave Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip Angels a 0.2... I literally almost threw up reading that hashed review.

Please recommend me some songs like these!

As a fan of The Fray you might like GoodBooks (if you don't already, that is). Leni would be a good song to start with. I wouldn't say that they're similar in sound (I love GoodBooks and can't stand The Fray) but they've got the same gentle kind of atmosphere in their music.

What are your weakness and strengths?

Strengths: - I have a relatively good knowledge/idea of a lot of types of music. I don't listen to them all, but I know what to expect from something when told it's genre. - I'm quite organized with all my music on my computer (which is funny, because I'm a mess with everything else, mostly)...

3 Artists that NEED to be better known

Three great pop acts that have decent cult followings in Britian but are completely under the radar here: Prefab Sprout: Whether you think of them as the natural successors to Gershwin or merely an 80's Steely Dan, the mooRAB their recorRAB set are incredible. Steve McQueen/Two Wheels Good...

    Blindspots and Denial

Cheers for your feedback guys. I'm actually a Rapper and Hip Hop producer. It's a verse I wrote on one of my songs called 'Slam Glock'. It is very vague and part of that was due to me wanting to be very on point with the flow of the beat. That was the most important thing. I also wanted to...
