Does being a musician affect the way you hear/enjoy music?

It does, and from what I can see, it drives other people absolutely mental - but I love it!!! I got my degree many years ago, and took so many exams in music that I've forgotten what qualifications I have. I hated all the exams, because the sudy of music back then (maybe it's the same now) was...

    LOL! Gotta check this out...hysterical!!

LOL. That was great. The part with the keyboardist having mic issues at about 2:35 was so funny I had to go back and watch it a second time. Actually basically everything he did as the keyboardist made me laugh.

    Your favourite album of 2009

    Music Banter's Essential Collections Discussion

My personal solution would be to put it into decades which would then incorporate the many sub genres without having to widen the net? so 70's/80's/90's and 00's. Post Rock should have it's own though.

This has been bugging me for years...

fill the five and pour from it to fill the three - this leaves two gallons in the five gallon jug. empty the three gallon jug, pour the two gallons into it. fill the five again, pour out into the three gallon jug until that's full - this leaves four in the jug.
