Apparently the accent (and stubble) is what got him the part. The director/producer thought he was the beat up American that was perfect for the part. I'm sure it's in the IMDB trivia. His US accent is much more comical in the skech shows.

lol :D pretty much sums up the film in a nutshell anyway. I've done something similar actually, my friend got the film times for The Grudge from the wrong cinema, but as there was a later showing they still sold the tickets to us. We walked into the screen that was showing it and I did wonder...

The curious case of Benjamin Button should be up there with the best of them. Great movie. I hope it wins some of them oscars too. The movie is riveting and manages to suck you in emotionally. The film has charm, warmth, depth and overall, its extremely touching. A film that deals with love...

I LOVE this film. I've not seen it for about 20 years and watching it now as an adult I can appreciate the story and meaning behind it that you don't understand as a youngster. "Let's go fly a kite..." Its a classic! :)

Kenny, I think that you, I and the whole lot of us need to get behind Freenet.com, and the Freenet protocol. Gnutella has one large, huge hole, in that you can be identified by your IP address when sharing files. That is not the case on Freenet. Unfortunately, Freenet is betaware right now...
