The 8600 is a good phone, but in my opinion, it is not an e815 replacement. The signal strength doesn't even come close, call quality is ok, but again, not on par with an e815. If you like the buttons on the e815, you will probably be disappointed with the 8600. The buttons are completely flat...

I would say that it depends on what you want/need. T-mobile will give you unlimited text as well as as full internet and email. With the 9900 you will get texting (but no true unlimited plan) but you will not have full internet or email. It all depends on what you need. good luck -z
