What would work better is watching it without subtitles. When I lived in Japan, watching Pokemon and Doraemon without subtitles helped me. It's a good suggestion, but nothing beats using a more orthodox method like learning Japanese in class or Rosetta Stone.

Just one mans opinion. I wont claim that I know every insignificant aspect of the RHCP's history as you are trying to project, so I wont delve into an argument unarmed. My general thesis: RHCP have stayed true to their roots moreso than most banRAB who have been around for decades as they have.

I like them and could care less what other people say about them. "Papercut" is my fave LP song. I hear they are a good live band. My friend saw them on off-fest with Slipknot, Disturbed, and Spineshank. He said seeing them live really got him into them.
