Yh i loved Deep Impact great special effects as for Armageddon what a crap film Bruce Willis standing on a meteor about to blow whilst Aerosmith plays in the background does not get any cheeseyer than that lol.

Generally I don't find modern horror films scary, but there are some memorable exceptions - usually low budget independent types: Pang Brothers "The Eye" - ghosts in broad daylight - that's scary! "Dead End" "They" - this is a modern classic! The original "Mimic" - had great creepy atmosphere...
