I like Ron Perlman, but he was a typical meat-head character in this film, all dirty talk and one liner put-downs. I don't think any of the cast members really looks comfortable or right for their roles. And the guy who played the captain of the ship... he comes across as so dumb and aloof and...

I was not impressed either. Complete waste of time. Unfortunately I have not seen the original Japanese movie. I think the Japanese are probably the masters of psycho horror (in my opinion of course !). American remakes are complete rubbish most of the time.

yes i think it might be muscle pain from a lot of coughing, i had really bad anxiety attacks when i was younger and have sum what learned how to deal with it. i did see a doctor today and she seems to think that it is muscle related as well, so time will tell..... thank you for your post:wave:
